Supporting Frank Water

MAHI Leather takes its name from the Mahi River. The coordinates, posted on our badge, 22° N, 72° E, represent the mouth of the river, where it joins the Arabian Sea in Gujarat, India.

For many this is a sacred river and in a country where 103 million people lack safe water its significance is more than symbolic; that’s why MAHI Leather donates a portion from every sale to Frank Water (Registered Charity No. 1121273), a UK based charity which has reached 455,729 people in 677 communities, supporting them to sustainably manage their own water resources, gaining access to safe, clean water, toilets, and good hygiene since 2005

Total donation amount: £50,218.26*

The latest donation from MAHI brings the total number of people Frank Water has been able to reach through 5 years of our support to approximately 3,677 people.

Through your purchases of MAHI products, we’ve supported thousands of the world’s most marginalised people, enabling them to sustainably manage their own water resources and in doing so, they have been able to build a future where their families have enough water to live and thrive

Whole families can break the cycle of poverty.

* Total donated as of December 2022. Frank Water is a British charity. All donations are made in British Pound (GBP).
